Equipped By The Word

All scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

– 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Many people in this world do not like to be taught, rebuked, corrected and trained in righteousness because they refuse to admit that what they are doing is wrong.  Yet those who have the Lord in their heart no longer desire to follow the ways of this world and they long to be taught, rebuked, corrected, and trained in righteousness.  They have no fear of being told they are wrong, because they know it and they genuinely desire to know how to change from their old way of life.  That is why scripture is so important, because at some point someone in your life is going to desire to know how to change from their old ways of living and you are going to have to help teach them, rebuke them, correct them, and train them according to what the Word of God says… according to righteousness!  This is definitely a challenge for you, but you are not in this alone!  God is on your side and he has breathed his very words into scripture to equip you for every good work that you do for his Kingdom.  God has given you his very words to use for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in all righteousness… So Boldly go forth and do his Great Kingdom works without hindrance for you have been fully equipped by God for every good work!
