Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go?  You have the words of eternal life.  We believe and know that you are the Holy One of God.”

After many disciples had turned their back on Jesus (Yeshua) and stopped following him, Jesus asked Simon Peter, “You do not want to leave too; do you?” And Simon Peter put it so perfectly when he responded to Jesus (Yeshua), “Lord, to whom shall we go…?” To whom shall we go when we are facing the hardest, most desperate times of our lives? To whom shall we go when everyone has turned their back on you, shut the door in your face, and you are the only one left standing? To whom shall we go…? To whom shall we run to…?? To whom shall we cling to…?? We have nothing and are nothing without Jesus (Yeshua)! We are all like lost sheep going astray – going our own way – without the Lord! The Lord IS our shepherd! We Must follow him in ALL things! And just as Simon Peter said it, Jesus (Yeshua) is the ONLY one with the words of eternal life! That means Everlasting Life is found in Jesus (Yeshua) and Nowhere Else! What POWER there is in our loving shepherd, Jesus (Yeshua)! He is the safeguard of your Heart and Life! He IS the HOLY ONE of God! What more do we NEED?!! So today if you are sitting around wondering “to whom shall you go?”… Go To Jesus (Yeshua)!
